It is always possible to adapt your favorite recipe to the list of allowed products. The good news for fast-food lovers is that such food is rather friendly to keto diet and easy to adapt. Because it mainly contains of meat and huge amount of oil. In this article we look at such fast-food recipes as keto chips.
Cheese keto chips recipe
Here we have two options – with Flaxseed flour or with eggs.
Keto chips with Flaxseed flour
For this recipe you will need:
- 150 gr of grated cheese
- 30 g of Flaxseed flour
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Sprinkle a handful of grated cheese on a baking sheet and a pinch of Flaxseed flour atop. You can also add seasame seeds to the keto chips to make them more crispy.
Add seasonings and bake for 10 minutes.
As 100 grams of Flaxseed flour contains only 7 grams of carbohydrates, you will not exceed the limit.
Easy keto chips recipe
The required products for this recipe are always in refrigerator.
- Hard cheese 100 gr
- Egg – 1 pc
All you need is to grate the cheese and mix it with the egg.
Oil the pan and heat it.
Then take some mixture with a spoon or a fork and put it in the pan. Lay several chips this way. They must be fried on both sides.
Put some paper napkins on a plate and chips on them. This will allow excess oil to drain on the wipes.
Zucchini keto chips recipe
These low-carb chips are quite easy to prepare, but as tasty as potato ones.
Prepare the ingredients:
- Medium zucchini – 1 pc
- Sunflower seeds – 50 gr
- Salt – 1 teaspoon
- Paprika – 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric and hot pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
Set the oven to preheat up to 90 degrees and start cooking:
Peel the zucchini and cut it into pieces.
Put the zucchini pieces and sunflower seeds in a blender and mix.
Add spices and stir.
Pour all onto a baking sheet covered with paper so that the mixture becomes a flat surface with of 4 – 7 mm thickness.
Put it in the oven for 1-1.5 hours. Then cut or break into pieces.
If the chips are not crispy, you can dry them a little more.
Onion keto chips recipe
- Onion 200-300 gr
- Egg – 1pc
- Flaxseed flour – 130 g
- Grated cheese – 100 g
- Spices and salt
Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Peel the onion and cut into rings.
Mix the flour and spices in a bowl and break the egg into another bowl.
Dip the onion rings into the egg and then into the flour.
Place the rings on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
Bake until Golden brown and crispy.
Always remember that cooking is an art based on chemistry and magic. So, you can add ingredients and create your own variations. For example, you can add sausage or bacon to cheese chips. Just grate them as the cheese and mix. Besides, ther can be added any spices you like to keto chips – hot or fragrant. The combinations of spices are endless so there are endles taste shades. When you’ve got tired of one spice mix, then replace it with another.
Or you can change the recipe for zucchini keto chips. Make them of practically any vegetables – broccoli, carrots and so on. Try and make your own variations. Just remember about carbs counting, as some vegetable contain them in too big amount. So you can enjoy your diet and eat your favorite food without a fear or shame.
