A keto ground beef recipe don’t differs a lot from a regular standard one. Because mince has no carbs itself. But to make keto dinner different every day, we offer you some ground beef dinner ideas.
This keto ground beef recipe is a perfect dish to have as a keto dinner. The prepared meal is tender and juicy.
- Ground beef 900 gr
- Egg 1 pc
- Salt and pepper
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Chicken broth 250 ml
- Mustard 1 tbsp
- Cream 3 tbsp
Put ground beef in a big bowl.
Break the egg in the same bowl and add salt and pepper. Mix everything with your hands.
Warm a bit the butter in a cast-iron pan with a thick bottom. Form some balls of ground beef. They should br equal in size and not too big.
Fry the balls for 3-5 minutes on each side until they become golden-brown.
In another bowl mix broth, mustard and cream until smooth. Pour the mixture into the frying pan with meatballs and stew for 5-10 minutes until the sauce hardens.
Low carb burger
This is the most pleasant option of keto dinner. It is also a good keto ground beef recipe for the fast food lovers.
Mostly burgers consist of the low-carb keto ingredients, except the buns, which contain not only flour but also sugar. But we have already posted the peanut bread recipes, so you can use it. To make low carb burger more familiar to a regular one, you can bake the buns in a commensurate round form.
To «build» a perfect low carb burger we need:
- Lettuce leaves
- Bacon slice
- Couple slices of cheese
- Ground beef cutlet – 150 gr
- Salt and pepper
- Egg – 1 pcs (+optional)
- Red onion
Before building the low carb burger we need to cook the ground beef cutlet. To this purpose we mix it in a bowl with an egg and spices. Oregano, basil and cumin will be good. Add salt and pepper. Form a cutlet and fry on both sides. It is better to make it thin and a bit bigger than the buns in diameter. But if you have your own preferences – do it your way.
Spread the mayo on the low carb buns. Then put all the ingredients in any order you like. But remember about the balance of juicy layers and the rest — interlace them.
And there is a little nuance. You need to catch the time so that when build the low carb burger the ground beef came right from the pan and be hot. This allows to slightly melt the cheese.

Keto chilli con carne
More often chili con carne is made from beef pieces, but there are classical recipes with beef mince too. They only have a special taste, which is more soft.
- Ground beef 500 gr
- Chili pepper 2-3 pcs
- Tomatoes 2 pcs
- Onion purple 2 pcs
- Garlic 4-5 cloves
- Lard 30 gr
- Salt, coriander, cumin, oregano, cumin which are always good for meat recipes. But you can add to keto chilli con carne those you like.
As a rule, chilli con carne is cooked with chilli peper and basically it is a mixture of beef and chilli. But if you are not ready for such spicy pepper amount, for the first times it can be partly replaced with sweet pepper.
Small pieces of lard melt on a frying pan. There must be very little lard, only 1 tbsp.
Fry the ground beef in the pork fat. It is better to do it on a big fire, stirring the mince constantly.
When the meat has been fried, add sliced sweet pepper, purple onion and chili. Add water or meat broth and stewi under the lid on a low fire.
Garlic grate or chop with a knife and add spices.
Peel tomatoes and cut into large pieces. Then put it to the pan with keto chilli con carne. Mix everything carefully.
Simmer keto chilli con carne without lid until it done.
Some recipes suggest adding 1 tsp of cocoa powder or a piece of dark chocolate. Surprisingly, they give chili con carne a special taste that worth to try.
